A group of Friends of Homewood Meeting was inspired several years ago to begin gathering monthly in order to hold in the Light those murdered in Baltimore, those in the midst of a judicial process for murder, and all others touched by violence in Baltimore. The group continues to meet online at 12:30 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month. You are welcome to join them: please contact the Homewood Friends office for information.

In June of 2020, a banner was installed on the wall in front of the meetinghouse as an outgrowth of that concern. The banner remembered the names of persons murdered in Baltimore during 2020. A new banner was installed in 2021. We continue this witness in 2022 with a third banner.
