Friends and friends of Friends are invited to Homewood’s Zoom observance of World Quaker Day! It’s the 400th year of George Fox’s birthday! We have invited Max Carter, former campus minister at Guilford College and recorded minister in the North Carolina Fellowship of Friends. He will speak about George Fox, his imperfect life and character, his radical take on Christianity and its relevance for us as liberal Friends today. This is a Zoom only event, and requires a quick registration.
