Green Workshops at Homewood

HELP CURE THE PLASTIC PLAGUE STARTING ALMOST NOW

Tuesday, Nov. 12, 7-8:15 PM

Tuesday, Dec. 10, 7-8:15 PM

This two-part workshop is aimed at actions you can take. Learn the scope of plastic pollution and work out your response and start to implement it with help from the group. Tips and hacks. These workshops respond to a need expressed in a Homewood GOAT (Green Organizing Action Team) survey of meeting members and attenders. We encourage Homewood people to bring a friend.

FUN WITH RAIN BARRELS

Tuesday, Feb. 11, 7-8:30 PM

Harvesting rainwater from your roof not only saves money on your water bill, but it also helps your downstream neighbors! Learn all about the benefits of rain barrels with Blue Water Baltimore. We will demonstrate how to build and install a rain barrel, and provide info on how you can purchase a fully assembled barrel or a DIY kit through our native plant nursery.
